Melting & refining
Silver is melted and alloyed to the hallmark — 80% or 92.5% sterling — then cast into bars.

Drawing the wire
Bars are pulled into fine wire, the thread every link begins from.

Linking by hand
Karigars join each kadi, jhalar and ghungroo by hand, one link at a time.
IV
Polish & finish
High polish, oxidised or antique: each piece is weighed and checked before it leaves.
